At this time PM10:35 of 2005-12-21 --- "today" of last year, we(wife, 4th child and I ) finished a tour to Malaysia and the airliner are just to land in CKS airport of Taiwan. That is a great tour to visit there. We love Malaysia and the people there.

1. I got a wonderful greeting card from a friend SC in Malaysia.

2. The Chinese saying: 助人為快樂之本 (To help others is the source of happiness). --- Yes, I did something today. A friend asked me to help them making a move tonight!

3. I got a parcel unexpectedly from Taiwan Institute of Economic Research( http://www.tier.org.tw/ ). They didn't forget my assistance to their industrial R&D investigation research. It's a gift with spoon, fork and their publication about the research results.

4. My boss asked me to send some e-cards to customers. I sent a lot from the site. ( http://www.mormon.org/ecard/create.jsp )

5. A customer of mine send a greeting to my skype account.

Last Saturday we had a family activity. That is to join a free movie festival which was held in the old Movie Museum in the downtown of Hsin Chu City. There are a lot of free movies from different countries during the one-month-long festival. We got there by a city bus. It is fun , because quite a long time we didn't take a bus the whole family. The movie we watch is Azur et Asmar. It is a special animation movie with good theme. My children like it very much. We are all happy in viewing such a colorful and delicate movie. At the end of movie, the audiences applauded the movie spontaneously. :-)

好特別的主題, 昨天和岱娜與仲為第一次去竹北六家的新瓦屋要看【九降風】, 結果不期地看到這部【海角七號】的首映會, 是戶外露天播放的. 其內容切合台灣現代的生活, 還有關於台灣以往的一些事. 台日跨國的愛情主題, 也很令人印象深刻. 許多人沒板凳坐的, 就直接坐在地上. 我們3位就是坐在地上的. 可以說整場電影沒有大人或小孩中途離席的. 放映結束後, 看到年輕的38歲導演魏德聖為一群圍著他的觀眾簽名海報與卡片, 著實佩服他的理想與執著. 預祝此片8/22全台上映成功!

馬侃舊愛 巴西77歲老婦爆紅

年輕時當過模特兒和芭蕾舞者的巴西77歲老婦，因為半個多世紀前和美國共和黨總統候選人馬侃的舊情，意外成為新聞人物。


馬侃在他1999年出版的回憶錄中，提到1957年，他服役的軍艦停靠里約熱內盧的時候，認識了一個巴西模特兒，書裡面沒有提到模特兒的名字，不過神通廣大的媒體找出了那個令年輕時的馬侃著迷的女子，77歲的（泰瑟莉亞）就這麼一夕爆紅。


（泰瑟莉亞）透露，她所認識的馬侃很浪漫，而且吻功一流。


一個老鄰居說，泰瑟莉亞常說她有一個很顯赫的情人，不過她從來沒有透露那是誰。馬侃和泰瑟莉亞的戀情很短暫，雖然後來他曾經回里約探訪過泰瑟莉亞，不過年輕人耐性和專注力都非常有限，兩人的戀情無疾而終。

對傳教士有好感

今天我的最後一個回答額度還是給你，幾個小時前回答的，應該也是你問的問題。 :-)

我想你對傳教士有好感吧！這是很正常的事。

當年(10年前)，我也是對傳教士有好感，所以我接受了他的邀請，認識福音。直到現在，我和我的福音長老還偶有連絡. 2000年時，我還和家人一起到美國拜訪他，也認識了他所有的家人。我常覺得，我會有這麼遠的朋友，可以讓我擴展我的眼界，應該也是福音所給我的生活帶來的祝福之一吧。

我猜想，如你接觸傳教士6年了，應該也認識不少教友，對教會的聚會與生活方式應該多少有所了解了。

傳教士到台灣來傳教已經有50多年了，因為這因素，應該也在他們完成傳教任務後，促成不少異國婚戀。我所認識的，就有不少對。約7~8年前，來台灣台中任傳道部會長的金惠積會長(金會長本身是美國夏威夷人)，他所娶的太太就是我們花蓮的阿美族人，金姊妹是在他年輕時到台灣傳教時所認識的教會姊妹，這成功的異國婚姻是最為我們中區的教友們所津津樂道的事。

但傳教士在傳教期間，是不會追求異性朋友的，這可能是有所規定. 所以如果你想認識傳教士，並想進一步交往的話，我可以個人給幾個意見，就怕你不中意聽...(笑)


1. 認識傳教士所帶來的福音，並真心尋求對福音的見證

這是傳教士一天24小時所關心的事，是他們意願出來傳教的目的。其實這也是你個人的福祇所在。傳教士就是在尋找這樣對福音想進一步了解的人。至於女孩接觸福音的目的是不是在找機會接近？傳教士或許彼此不會去說或討論，但我相信他們的內心會很明白。

經文上說: 「你們要先求他的國，他的義。這些東西都要加給你們了。」(太6:33) 要不要以此試試看是否有效呢？


2. 留下聯絡的方式，以教友的身份大方的拜訪他們

這是金姐妹和金會長的方式吧！其實不只他們，我知道的還有其他人。因為傳教其間不談男女感情，當然得等到傳教結束返鄉後，就我所知，大部份的傳教士結束傳教後，都會有結婚的渴望。以按照經文的方式，組織美滿的家庭。而教會的領袖也是經常這樣的勉勵他們的。如果你和傳教士已經是朋友了，那麼以教友或朋友的身份，彼此留下連絡的方式並在以後互訪，其實是很正常的事。我相信，你所建立的友誼，將會為你開啟機會的大門的。


我沒有回答到你的心情，倒是給你務實的建議，似乎文不對題。但是，希望對你能有所助益。

傳教士姊妹

我想他們為人喜愛的原因是因為他們看起來很乾淨，也很謙和吧！ 一個人如果具有這樣的特質或態度，不論他是不是傳教士，應該都會受人喜愛吧！

我是男生，我很喜歡傳教士姊妹呀！

在我的感覺，一個懂得追求神的教導並予以實踐的女子，是最具吸引力的女生. 而傳教士姊妹正是在這條路上努力的人。

箴言31:26~30上論及敬畏耶和華的婦女時說：「他開口就發智慧，他舌上有仁慈的法則。他觀察家務，並不吃閒飯. 他的兒女起來稱他有福，他的丈夫也稱讚。他說: 才德的女子很多，惟獨你超過一切。豔麗是虛假的，美容是虛浮的。惟敬畏耶和華的婦女，必得稱讚。」

我好像把年輕的傳教士姊妹說老了，說實在的，他們給人的感覺就是美，因為勤讀經文的他們給人感覺是端莊且有靈性氣質。雖然，在教會的某些場合中，我也常見到他們自然可愛與熱心服務的一面。有時甚至像孩童般的嬉鬧... 但都不傷大雅的。

有關摩門傳教士

我的回答不能算是教會的正式說法，只是我個人的了解。因為我也是個教友而已，我並沒有去傳過教。

首先，傳教士在傳教(傳教士長老兩年、傳教士姊妹一年半)的期間不交男女朋友或談戀愛，應該是正確的。是不是有規定我不知道，但我知道他們不會做這事。

至於不能接異姓電話倒沒有這麼嚴重吧，只不過，有傳教士姊妹的支會裡，通常女性的慕道友就會由傳教士姊妹來接待或上課，男性的慕道友則由傳教士長老負責。這樣的安排其實對多數的慕道友是比較好的。

但還是有例外的，因為擔任傳教士的姊妹人數較少，所以並不是所有的支會都會有傳教士姊妹。在沒有傳教士姊妹的支會裡，傳教士長老則要擔負所有的慕道友的工作，他們也是會給女性的慕道友上課的。

至於你提到的「有的長老講話的語氣很溫柔很輕，溫柔到有點像講情話，他們也很樂意地回答我的問題，有的則是很嚴肅」… 請容我以一節教會中的經文來回應你，即在 "教義與聖約" 的第38章第41節中說到的：「讓你們的宣講成為警告的聲音，每個人要溫和、謙卑的向鄰人宣講。」我想，傳教士們正在很努力的想實踐經文上的這項要求。(笑)

Seediq Balay《賽德克巴萊》is the name of a Taiwanese aborigine tribe that respects the ancestor spirit, and now it is the name of a 5 min short film on the past famous battle of the aborigine tribe and the military of the foreign ruler Japan in 1930. The young director 魏德聖, who directed the successful "Cape No. 7" that sold rarely well recently, spent USD $9o,oo0 his own money to come out this wonderful short film earlier in 2004.

Hope it can be turned out into a complete movie soon.

海角七號的七封情書

七封情書串連兩個時代(當代和1945年日本人遣返)下的的異國戀情故事. 而這兩個故事同樣發生在南台灣的恆春, 所以七封情書為當時失意的男女主角帶來心中刻骨銘心的感受與巧妙的變化和影響. 這變化的影響力有來自舊時代愛情故事的力量. 雖然, 劇情中對男女主角"刻骨銘心" 的感覺的表現或許不夠充分, 以至讓人一開始就覺得這七封情書與劇情的發展有格格不入的感覺.

但導演刻意巧妙的安排兩個女生的名字同樣都是"友子", 讓女主角更能身同感受另一位友子的內心感覺. 其目的也是要增加兩段故事的劇情連結力.

現代人的愛情觀有過度充份選擇的自由, 流行速食愛情, 甚至是一夜情. 但卻對彼此的約束力不足, 最後的選擇往往帶來空虛的結果. 反觀60年前的愛情, 他們在大時代的驅使下, 不得不離開彼此. 然而他們對愛情的思念卻深深存在心底. 兩相對照之下, 舊時代的愛情讓現代年青人有很大的省思的空間.

七封情書帶來劇情更多的反思的機會, 讓現代年青人去反省他們的愛情觀, 若無兩個時代的對照, 整個故事的深度就大減, 只是一個地方樂團的組成所帶來的笑果罷了. 或許, 在電影中段之前, 插入情書的口述, 一開始讓人覺得與劇情的調味並不相符合. 但是, 看過整部電影之後的回味卻是越來越有意思! 因為完全不同的兩個時空背景下, 其調味本來就會有所不同. 且60年前的故事畢竟是屬回憶下的場景, 更加具有想像的空間, 故其調味更加的不同. 然而, 我們卻看到它所發揮的影響力, 因為不同時空的兩個故事, 卻同樣發生在台灣的南部小城恆春, 且女主角還湊巧同名同姓.
