Yesterday I heard this song from radio in car when driving to Taipei. It seems I heard it before as it's such a familiar and traditional type of Taiwanese songs. The Taiwanese isn't Chinese, but a local language originating from south-east China. It is also my mother language. But it uses the same words with Chinese as well.
Mother-in-law said it is a good song that makes one feel easy and happy. Especially when a housemaker is doing something such as hanging clothes. :-) Chiese isn't her mother language.
2 years ago when I had my first business trip to Shanghhai China. I heard the cell phone ringing of a Chinese girl is from the familair Taiwanese song. I asked her if she know its lyric. She replied even she don't know most of its lyric, but the melody makes her feel good. Is it true? How do you think ?
